		<description>Good article. Indeed there is a tyranny of the majority with many of the popular &quot;news&quot; sites. This is why any one outlet can only augment, not supplant, anyone&#039;s news consumption.

The effect of this sort of popularity-based system is that the most sensational item, irrespective of its validity or quality,  gets in the way of the most intelligent and valuable item. This is never a good thing.</description>
